I am looking forward to the cooler months, we need to get through August then the weather will turn around. Winters in the Middle East are perfect for training as it is very mild!

I will be taking part in the Comrades Marathon in South Africa,to raise awarenss and funds for the Els for Autism Foundation and the Dubai Autism Center. I am running the race for Ben Els, who is the son of South African golfing legend Ernie who was diagnosed with autism 4 years ago. I contacted the Els for Autism Foundation and Ernie was delighted to hear that I want to run for Ben and raise awareness for the disorder. There is no known cure for autism.
